A Not So Common Carp   THE FIRST FEW WEEKS FOR A NEW STOCKED COMMON THE LADS HAVE NAMED IT   "THE BISHOP" (Phil Dunn stocking the Common)  This is a Common stocked on May 22nd /23rd.  When introduced to Roman it weighed 21lb and was caught at that weight by syndicate member Jay Thomas on 26th May.                                                             ( Sean Johnson) This is Johno with the same fish on the 23rd  July, and now weighing 26lb 8oz. That’s a weight gain of  5lb 8oz since its introduction. Note the belly line between Johno’s hands and compare with Phil’s photo.   (Richard Vince)   On the 23rd August, Richard Vince caught her again. This time she weighed 29lb 8oz. That’s a weight gain now of  8lb 8oz . This is a fish to look out for, definately one for the future.      THE BISHOP HITS THIRTY ( Jon Holmes )   An overnighter on 18th April 07  saw Bailiff  Jon Holmes  catch her this time at 32lb 8oz.  Now thats a gain of 11lb 8oz since stocking  this fish just continues to grow.
